Dear Families, Players, and Supporters,
I wanted to take a moment to reflect on an incredible weekend at the SCVA Red Rock National Qualifier. Our club proudly sent three teams to compete at a very high level: Redlands Renegade 18-1 (18A), Redlands Renegade 17-1 (17AR), and Redlands Renegade 16-1 (16AR).
Across the board, our athletes proved that we belong on this national stage. Every team competed hard in every match they played, showing resilience, discipline, and a true commitment to representing our club the right way.
Our 18-1 team had an outstanding tournament, finishing with a 5-3 record (10-9 in sets) and capturing 1st place in their bracket on the final day. Their ability to battle through tough matches and finish strong speaks volumes about their growth and competitive mindset.
Our 17-1 team finished 3-4 (8-9 in sets) and was extremely competitive throughout the entire tournament. Match after match, they pushed strong opponents and demonstrated that they can compete with anyone in the field.
Our 16-1 team also went 3-4 (7-9 in sets) and had a standout moment by taking a set from Coast Volleyball Club, a highly respected and competitive program out of San Diego. That performance alone shows the level our athletes are capable of reaching.
What stood out most this weekend was not just the results, but how our teams competed. Every group battled against every opponent they faced with determination and pride. We proved that Redlands Renegade Volleyball Club belongs in national qualifiers and can compete at a high level.
I am incredibly proud of our coaching staff for their commitment, preparation, and the quality of coaching they delivered throughout the tournament. Their leadership continues to elevate our program and our athletes.
I also want to recognize our social media team, who did an outstanding job capturing and sharing the weekend. The high-quality content they produced showcased our club in a first-class way and allowed our community to stay connected and engaged.
Thank you to all of our families and supporters for your continued trust and dedication. This weekend was a big step forward for our program, and we are excited to keep building from here.
